IV Sedation Dentistry is a wonderful miracle for anyone who fears dentists and discomfort as it enables you receive the care your smile requires without pain or anxiety.

Is Sedation Dentistry Right For Me?
Quite often people become anxious about their impending dental treatment. With the advances in dentistry pain-relief options we hope to ensure that your visit is relaxing and as comfortable as possible. We offer our patients IV sedation (Twilight Sedation – otherwise known as Sleep Dentistry). Patients who undergo IV sedation often recall little of what went on while they were sedated, even though they remain conscious throughout the procedure. From the time the drug begins to activate until it wears off, most people experience a state of deep relaxation and full or partial memory loss while under IV sedation.

Sedation dentistry may be the ideal solution for you if:

  • you’ve had a bad experience at the dentist
  • you dread going to the dentist for any reason
  • you have difficulty keeping your mouth open
  • you need lengthy or invasive treatment.

How does IV Sedation Dentistry Work?

A mix of sedatives and pain relievers are given intravenously by our visiting sedation dentist to place you in a state of complete relaxation and comfort. Your whole dental procedure will be over before you know it, and usually you’ll have no memory of the event.
